O-Shot Q & A

What is the O-Shot (Orgasm Shot)?

The O-Shot is a simple, non-surgical, in-office procedure in which an  injection of a woman’s own body’s growth factors, found in the blood’s platelet-rich plasma (PRP), are injected into an area near the clitoris and upper vagina.

These are the areas most responsible for a woman’s sexual response. Prior to the procedure, the patient is numbed with a local anesthetic cream and so she experiences little or no discomfort during the procedure.

How does the procedure exactly work?

Once your blood has been drawn and the platelet rich plasma (PRP) processed, it is injected into key areas of the vagina and clitoris. This promotes a regenerative process. The platelets stimulate the growth of new cells in the injected areas, increasing sensitive to the touch in these areas.

The cells begin to rejuvenate the vagina tissue. Most women report substantial results. These include:

  • Increased sensitivity… and thus the possibility for multiple orgasms
  • Tighter vaginal skin
  • Increased desire (libido)

Who can benefit from the O-Shot?

The O-Shot is one of the only treatments available for female sexual dysfunction and is one that is backed by plenty of scientific research. The O-Shot can help women suffering from:

  • Low desire
  • Difficulty reaching orgasm
  • Difficulty becoming aroused
  • Painful sex

What additional benefits does the O-Shot offer?

Another benefit to women who receive this injection in the office is the fact that there is no downtime!

Further, many women who have urinary incontinence or urinary urgency concerns have this resolved or improved. The take home point is that it is all natural using the patient’s own bodies growth factors to stimulate new nerve and blood vessel growth with the end result being better, healthier sex! Results vary between patients, but generally, women enjoy benefits of the O-Shot for up to six months.
